Engine not running right after rebuild, need help!
Just rebuilt motor in my 98 svt. Bought the car with blown engine. Now when i cold start it, the car dies. Then when you restart the car it trys to flood itself out. It keeps flooding out, spitting and backfireing till it warms up. Then when it is warmed up it runs good but not as strong as it should be. Had codes read, downstream side 1 o2 sensor problem, and something to do with the egr valve. I replaced coolant sensor, 1 o2 sensor, vaccum deverter valve on front of engine, checked egr. Egr is working fine. Dont know where to go from here. Will not take it to the shop!!
