Default sub 2.8 pulley

Anybody out there had thier blower snout machined for a smaller than 2.8 pulley? I see that you can buy a DUB 2.6 pulley but it requires snout machining to get smaller pulley to clear. Anybody try this?

I have this sitting in my garage right now. But I'm going to exchange it for a 3.10 or something. I would keep it tho if I didn't have a larger crank pulley
