Default 01 cobra to 03-04 cobra supercharge conversion. Want to buy.

I have an 01 cobra looking to supercharge it. If anyone has ideas for me on the cheapest way to do this or an offer to sell me a kit then let me know. All ideas are appreciated

Hey bud, I have a 2001 Cobra and wondered the same.

I was thinking Squires Turbo Systems. (STS)

They put a turbo in the back of the car, so no underhood heat, mess, and the turbo runs cooler, so it lasts longer. Just a more efficient place to have a turbo.

They don't have a kit for our year Mustangs, but they have a universal kit for like $1700 w/ a Turbonetics turbo.

You still would have to buy more piping I'm sure but it seems like a good bang for the buck.

My .02

ive seen a lot of kits on ebay, although not complete would get you in the right direction. usually about a $1000 for the blower, intake, injectors, etc. Still lacking a bunch of stuff. You have to remember the reaosn these parts are available is because someone upgraded their 03-04 cobra to turbo or what ever so your just getting whats left over. I checked into the same deal for my 01 convt, cobra and it was going to be just about as expensive to buy a procharger new as it was rounding up all the parts for the Eaton(some from the Ford dealer). My two cents.
