As far as mods go, gears, intake, exhaust, and a tune is the most common start. After that, I'd suggest a Kenne Bell or Whipple supercharger, that car will roar then, just watch the boost levels on stock internals.

OH, OK, I got it, sorry, kind of sick guys, I thought you were referring to me, and my yellow Mustang looking like yours, but I was about to say, I promise you it's not, mine has a 5.0 lol. If it wouldn't be a pain in the ****, I'd love to pull the 5.0 and put it in the 99 and scrap my worn 95, but......I'll just keep things as is, just wish I had a Terminator, dang those things are expensive around here, way over priced, damn rich/wealthy area I live in, like within less than 1/2 of a mile from my house there are 4 multimillion dollar homes, so yea, even used cars are over priced around here

:that car is owned by a gentleman who lives in charlestown wv.that logo in the rear window seems a little redneck,he is a pretty good guy and he is from wv.one treason i like the cobra is the motor has a lot in common with the zr1.high winding ,dual overhead cam, awesome sound at full throttle.the zr1 has 16 injectors and will run off 8 at regular power and all 16 at full power and is contolled by a power key inside car.by the way the yellow cobra looks a lot like the 5.0 in the thread, this body style and color are not my favorite .with that said, i really plan on keeping this car.in my opinion its way more car than what i payed for it.i have a friend who has 3 times more in his cobra .he payed more for a new engine than i payed for the entire car.i cant tell him what i payed for it,he would be sick

I was about to say that lol both have DOHC motors, though based off of the L98 sort of, also the Intake runners also switch off 8/16, a common mod for cobras is the IMRC delete (intake manifold runner controls) (i think thats right lol) I mean don't get me wrong i like the c4 ZR-1s alot but it almost doesn't deserve to have a bowtie on it, Lotus designed most of the engine, aluminum block like your cobra, (though i bet the Teksid is stronger lol, Teksid is the company that made and i think still makes blocks for ferrari, so both of the rides had outside help, but the cobra was just the block, the Lotus is the upper half of the engine and IIRC some handling and brakes, bascially turned the vette into a track car (the kind of track with turns lol). Nice cars none the less, post pics, of all of them.

Get the supercharger. I have a Vortec S-trim and it really wakes the engine up, not to mention it looks cool. I don't have any problem keeping up with my buddy in his Z06.

You guys and your nice cars make me sick, lol.

But as everyone has already let you know, for the 4v gears make a world of difference and then of course the standard intake/exhaust stuff.
