98 cobra for corvette fan
well guys here i am on the dark side to tell you how much i like the cobra mustang.i have had many corvettes and never really cosidered a mustang until i purchased a yellow 98 cobra to sell. purchased it cheap and fixed the couple of issues it had.in the last few weeks of driving this car i think i will keep it.the car is a blast to drive,sounds awesome,seems like more power than 310 to me.so here it sits with a c6 corvette,a zr1 corvette,and my 68 firebird.now tell me what mods are most effective on this car

One of the biggest annoyances of a Mustang. They put the shifter too far ahead of you. The last two cars that I had before the Mustang was a 93 300ZX and a 95 Saturn SL2. Both of those had the shifter right beside you in the seat, so the switch to the stang was a tad awkward.

IIRC they do that to prevent the use of shift linkage.

i have a c6 corvette,the zr1 is a 91 model c4 zr1,not the new one.i would trade my whole garage for a new one.the cobra really is a great car.this car is a preformance value. spent more for the motor in my firebird than i payed for this car.the model i have is not the most desireable yet i find it a great driver,even with the yellow,whitch is not my favorite color.its intresting the new gt mustangs have virtually the same hp as a 12 year old cobra.
