Hello all, I have a 96 Cobra (build date 10/95) and I need to locate a replacement dipstick tube. I called Ford and the part is discontinued. There are two versions apparently, and the one I need bolts to the valve cover.

Are there any aftermarket or old-parts vendors I can check with? My tube was badly kinked by the last owner when they installed headers, oh well. I can barely get the dipstick in/out.

umm i'd try latemodelrestoration.com or SVTPerformance.com or Corral.net, latemodel is an actual website the other 2 are forums but if you post in the classifieds you might be able to find one, if that doesn't work, junkyards.

Another place to check would be MPS Auto Salvage... they have lots of Mustang and 4 valve parts...
