Hello everyone! I I bought my 03 cobra a couple months ago with 50k miles on the clock. The car is really clean and has been well maintained and has not been DD.
I'm curious about reliability and what I should expect as far as mileage.
I'm not planning to get too crazy with mods, just upper pulley swap, RAI, Cat Back and a good dyno tune. With regular maintenance and normal driving(no drag racing, just hit it occasionally) can I expect let's say 150k miles without any mechanical problems?
How many miles do you have? Anybody high mileage and DD?

ya ive a handful of 100k miles for sale and most of those look beat!! but i think theyd be pretty reliable i mean thats what they were made for from Ford is to be a lasting DD...its when you start adding lots of power and beat the crap outta it is when you have major problems...but there will be a few things that youll prolly have to replace like any car such as new clutch alternator thermostat fuel pump maybe not to mention bushings its not gonna wear any harder then a honda civic unless you make it wear harder!! mileage prolly mid 20's highway high teens city depending on your foot

i DD'ed the car for a little less than 2 years. i didn't drive a whole lot though. bought the car with 22k now it has 32k. i don't drive it during winters either.

i have had zero issues so far, but its not like im racking up the miles either. do you plan on DDing your cobra?

about 85k here. bought it with 60k. Beat the everliving hell out of it with the eaton. now im beating the hell out of it with a whipple! No problems other than a dying alternator a few thousand ago.
