just what we talked about before being input output clutch maybe synchros down the road...keeping the IRS will be tough youll have to get the strongest upgrade they make for them which will be lots of money and your still liable to snap axels easier...it would just be cheaper and easier to go solid and sell your IRS..i have solid and mine rides better then anyone one of my friends...i have 650 hp and mine rips through bushings if i launch i have to use solids if i wanna track it..but i like road better lol

I love my irs, and you can make it plenty strong to handle whatever you want to throw at it. It is more expensive than a solid, but it rides better than one also. If you go to the track once a week, or even 3 times+ a month ide say go solid. But if you go only rare occasions, the irs is much better for the street. Throw a brace on there, and a bushing kit and drive it. People say the half shafts are weak, but thats not always true. But theres no sense in changing the half shafts untill they break, since those will cost the most to upgrade. As long as you stay out of wheel hop, the irs can last, and you can can break the solid just as easy as the irs if you mistreat it.

Yeah me too I just love how the car handles.. I had a 04v6 & 03mach 1 before and by far like how the irs handles.. I go to the track maybe once every 3months. So for now il just do the clutch, input/output shaft, and irs bushings along with some full length subframe connectors.. Am I missing anything else?

no svtteeshirt its already gone a long time ago haha
im just saying from experience i dont take mine to the track but once or twice a year if you have some stick tires on there and try to take off shift hard power shift you will really put your IRS to the test lol...i guess just replace it as your break it lol

sounds like you have a good start list, make sure to do the irs brace also. Run it till you break the halfshafts, which you might never do. But no sense in spending 1200+ bucks on some new shafts untill the stockers break.
