Awesome... Hey I've been so busy lately. Didn't check my email until today. Man my car is worse then before. I don't think I'm going to clean it. I think I'm going to imirc delete instead of cleaning it. I have to figure out how to do it first. If anyone knows how to do it please let me know.

Default Did you fix the issue? I have a 98 cobra that I just rebuilt...

I have a 98 cobra that sat for almost 4 years that I just rebuilt. Everything seems good except when I try and give it more power Im loosing acceleration. Feels like it's bogging or something around 3-4k rpm.

How did you fix yours?

Marty

cleaning IMRCs is one thing, but if the problem is so bad it falls on its face, odds are the controller itself is going south. The IMRCs will still open when "dirty". The terrible bog you feel is the controller not doing its job. Be warned, the correct intake gaskets for the 98s are like finding a needle in a haystack
