Default Bad Luck Cobra

Hello to all, im new and i wanted to see if could get some help. I had my cobra blow out a spark plug with enough force to break some pieces off (Grounding tab and some of the porcelain). Well worst part is they fell in while the engine was still on. I got the spark plug threads re-taped but now its making a tick similar to a stuck lash adjuster. To me that wouldn't make sense since the pieces fell into the cylinder and no where near the lash adjusters. It still runs great no problems with oil pressure, overheating, nothing except the ticking noise. What could it be? I took it to the ford dealer but they had no clue. and the shops around here dont want to even touch it. Whats making the noise in the cylinder? Tick goes away after 1200 rpm and can only be heard below 1200 rpm. Should i be worried?

Hate to even say it since this EXACT thing happened to me, but mine was a bit worse since i was full on throttle when it happened and ended up eating a hole in my piston... I would maybe try doing a compression test on all of the cylinders and make sure that cylinder isnt reading way off. Also if you have a camera to look inside the cylinder it may tell you something. Mine didnt look so bad at first, then when i pulled it out it looked like this...

Ok maybe i will look into investing into a boroscope to see inside the cylinder. I actually did a compression test and the compression in the cylinder that blew out was still good. Damn i would hate to have to tear this thing apart.
