Default '99 Cobra - Swapping Radio / CD Combo

Hi guys. I have a 1999 cobra I just picked up, and it has the radio / cd combo in the two different bays. Very frustrating, and would like to remove the cd bay and swap the radio without having to take out the factory amp. I assume I have the Mach 450 (says the previous owners documentation). All the speakers say "mach".

Any wiring diagrams? Is it hard, are there any aftermarket radios that are a direct swap with a wireharness? I don't want to swap any speakers / amps, just the radio.

Also with that, I don't get how the CD and Radio are both wired, do they tap into the same wires that feed into the amp?

Any information would be helpful, thanks!

you can pull the stock radio and cd player, $15 gets you a pocket to put in old cd player spot, then your headunit goes where old one did, you will need the metra harness that has the rca in them, should be part 705510,
