Default 1999 Performance Recall Question

Hey everyone,

I've read up on the 1999 recalls for performance, the rear knuckle, and the e-brake. I thought there was a phone number I could call and check if these were done... does anyone happen to know it?

I know the CAI is a waste of money for the 99-04's, but with the issue is a CAI and tuner a good idea on the Cobra? Just trying to find out if I should bother with the CAI if the recall fix has not been done.

Thanks for the help!

CAI will help you out power wise and with a tune itll just make it even better...you will def notice a diff with CAI and tune...doing exhaust is always nice for sound and also another will performance addition...and lastly but prolly the most important for those cobras is the gears...they really geared them way to low with the 3.27's many people upgrade to 3.73's and 4.10's with that itll feel like a whole new car!!

goodluck..and sorry i dont know bout the recall

you can call your local ford dealer, give them your vin number and they can look it up. or just drive the car there so that way it's easier for them to get the vin.
