1996 Cobra for sale
I have had my Cobra 3+ years and have invested a lot of money and hard work. Let me know if you are interested.
1996 Ford Mustang Cobra, 4.6L V8, 5 speed, 340 hp. Since purchase I have replaced with all new parts: A/C compressor, Clutch, CO2 sensors (all 4), wheels (Cobra R chrome, including a spare) (stock set included), new tires only 6 months old (Nitto NT555 cost $1700), emergency brake cable, SCT programmer (included), Dyno tuned - stock is 305hp, now at 340hp, new alternator, new coil, new paint (Stone Gray from 2004 Nissan 350z), new front control arm, new battery (3 year warranty), new chrome underdrive pulleys, new platinum spark plugs, new Ford racing plug wires, new fuel filter, New exterior trim and accent pieces, new headlight assemblies (not yet installed), new rear wing, new windshield and new water pump. It also has a K&N cold air intake and Flowmaster H pipe off road dual exhaust which were on the car when I got it. I have done all maintenance to include tune up, radiator flush, oil changes (every 3 months with Mobile 1 fully synthetic), differential fluid change, transmission fluid change, chassis lubricated, etc. 80335 miles showing on the odometer but this has never worked for me. Actual is close to 150k. It is a Sunday driver and garaged at all times. I purchased this car 3 years ago with the intention of using it as a donor car for a kit car. I had so much fun driving it that I decided to restore it. Car drives incredible both in handling and speed. Could be a comfortable daily driver or a weekend toy. I have never raced or drag raced the Cobra. It is a driver, not a trailer queen. $8900 or best offer.
Please email me for pictures.
Thanks.

340 HP ?
How do you get those numbers with your mods listed.
I wish my 97 had 340 hp and I have some of the same bolt on and then some and NO where near 340 HP to the crank never mind rwhp without any F\I.
I agree with Uberstang on this one sounds to good to be true
OP slap a picture up of the Cobra in thread? Why email it.

Hey guys,
Thanks for catching the error. I am not trying to mislead anyone or rip off some kid. The Dyno report from Ramsey's Performance showed Max Power at 280.77 with max torque of 557.53. This was before the tune up and plug wire change. If you noticed in the ad it said 305 stock horsepower so I am obviously talking about horse power at the flywheel. I was told that with the mods it has it is pushing 340hp at the flywheel. If this is incorrect, I apologize and would ask for your thoughts on horse power at the flywheel.
You guys are very knowledgeable and I appreciate your responses. I am again, not trying to mislead anyone.
Thanks.
