Smile Where were 98 Cobra engines made?

Where 1998 Cobra engines made in the USA, parts used made in USA, etc? Also what about the transmission. I hope that the engine was made in the States. Ger.

The 98 Cobra used the Teksid block, yes? I think those were made in Italy...? Then they switched over to the Windsor in 01, which was made in Canada... Not 100% sure about that, but I think that's it...

It was assembled in Romeo MI from parts sourced all over the world. Why does it matter?
