Hello,

I recently purchased a 99 mustang cobra and I had a check engine code for missfire on monday and checked the plugs and coils and everything seemed ok. The next day driving in the street 2nd gear at 3500 rpm I got this knock that got loud . I wasnt driving it hard at all I havent even taken the car past 4000 rpm since purchased.

I took it home since I was just a block away and checked it and honestly need a second opinion on the problem.or maybe someone could come by and help spot the problem. any help would be appreciated .

Me and my brother located the knock coming from the area of the manifold towards the top middle of the engine .Engine didnt overheat and oil pressure stayed normal.

Car starts up normal and knock goes 3 seconds and stops 1-2 then continues same way .
