i have a 97 cobra and i recently noticed a ticking or sewing sound coming from engine department i have little of a idea of what it might be im new to modular motors i love the 5.0 are way easier to diagnose, any help would be appreciated i will post up pic

Here is my experience with my old 98 cobra. maybe its the same as yours. Ive also spun a rod bearing in another 98 cobra, bit different noise however. still loud

Mine makes the same sound as WhiteFoxGT's link. Mine only does it on a cold start and lasts about 2 or 3 min then goes away. Pretty sure its a lash adjuster that's not priming up like its supposed to.

Also the fuel injectors can get loud as they get older and worn out.
