What is my SVT worth?

What is my SVT worth?
I have a 2001 Cobra SVT that i just put brand new Bridgestone Potenza tires on 4 days ago. Well, 3 days ago the engine blew and i do not have time to have it rebuilt because of a moving situation i am in. I am trying to sell it but i don't know what a good starting asking price is for it. The body has 124K miles on it, and the interior is in respectable condition considering its age. I wouldn't say it is perfect, but i would say it is very clean. It has a few minor upgards, off road X-pipe, aftermarket headers, 4:10 gears, a swapped rear stiff GT suspension, some caster camber plates and a few other cosmetic things.
If somebody with more expertise could please help me with a good selling price, that would be great. Thanks!

I get that, but the fact that the motor is able to be rebuilt, which means all the numbers will match. That counts for something right? I would take 5k for it, I was also told by another mustang enthusiast that it is worth roughly 6k. It is still drive able, just gonna fail soon, likely.

There are two main things that make your car more valuable than a '99 or '01 GT - the engine and the IRS. Since both of those are "n/a" at the moment, as a roller it really isn't worth much (if any) more than a GT in similar condition. Won't hurt to try for a little higher asking price, but IMO the ball is really in the buyer's court here. As far as the numbers matching thing, that really only seems to apply to classic cars.
If you were in a position to part it out I think you could probably get a better amount of overall $$ out of it rather than selling it complete. Personally, I would try to come up with a scenario in which you could get it running again. Even if you have to go spend $4K on a used Mach1 engine, if you were to turn around and sell it the next day you would probably still come out ahead. As it sits, probably lucky to get $3,000 out of it. With a running 4V engine, worth probably $10K or more.
