I concede on the power. Ford is saying 420+ which is probably closer to 430-440.

The engine itself is a carry over. It's not newly engineered. It just has some mods to it.

My guess would be 440-450.

Agreed. 440 BHP from the larger valves and higher lift Boss cams is more realistic.

The 2016 Camaro will no doubt get the direct injected 450BHP 6.2L LT1, which is currently rated at 450BHP in the 2014 Corvettes.
The 2016 Corvette LT1 will see an increase to 475BHP; it is direct injected after all and is highly detuned for such an engine with that kind of potential. But I do not see Chevy allowing the 2016 Camaro SS to get that same 475BHP LT1 to keep Corvette owners happy.

Ford already is just a little under 450BHP without any direct injection with the 444BHP Boss Roadrunner. Bringing the Coyote to Boss levels of power is easy to do.

Split the difference between the 2014 offerings, 420 and 444, and you get 431 hp for the 2015.

Ford showed a schematic of the design at the unveiling, but no information was offered as far as specifics.
