I liked the 50's grills with teeth!
I like the old 50's grills with healthy looking chrome teeth! This looks like the smile of a very, very poor boxer! Now please don't get your shorts in a knot, I'm just joking! Put down that gun! Everyone should do what they like with their car! That's what it's all about!
I guess it's all just up to a person's particular taste. I saw a '56 Chevy Wagon a TV auction where the owner "built" it spending a fortune removing or blacking all the chrome in the modern stealth/murder mode! Since it had no reserve, it sold for only $18K because he destroyed everything people loved about that classic car! I suspect it was bought just for the parts & will be saved! I sold the same '56 Wagon 8 years ago restored to stock with modern updates for $60K plus shipping to Virgina! I saw it on TV as the new owner had it in the shop of the Fantom Works Show to be serviced! I called the new owner to verify it was the wagon I built! Small world!
ENJOY THE HOBBY!

Not a fan. It looks ok but entirely a bad idea. Unless you plan to park the car you're just asking for a leaking radiator and no boost.
If you're going to pull the grill you need to put wire mesh in there to protect your stuff. Unless buying new radiators every few thousand miles is fashionable or something.
Cheaper and easier mod: black out the pony emblem with some plastidip. Took me about 30 minutes of actual work over 3 hours.

I definitely appreciate your opinion but having an open grill isn't as bad as you think. Ever wonder why every 2013-2014 GT500 comes with an open grille from the factory? If Ford was so concerned about radiators being damaged from normal driving you would think that they would have gone another route.
