New/used 15 GT or used GT500, Roush, etc...
So I'm in the market to upgrade my 13 V6 premium. I've been eyeballing the new GTs and would love a premium with PP but can't spend $40k. My budget is about $35k max.
I've also seen quite a 07-10 GT500s and RS3 in that price range as well. Of course with all these cars they have low mileage. One that particular caught my attention is an 09 white vert with 20k for $28k.
Which would you guys choose?

With the current sales going on you can get a 2016 GT premium with the 401a package, back up camera and nav for the $36-37k range. Price one out at ford.com or go to a dealer and see if they can get it into your budget range... But yea, a GT500 in that range would be tempting!

07-10 GT500's have levled out on how much they cost and their resale value, it is a better investment to buy one of those than it is a regular Mustang gt which will always have a plummeting resale value because it is not special and a decade from now you will be able to purchase a nice used one for 15 grand. I have seen plenty of premium package mustangs in the pacific northwest selling brand new for around 31k esp going into winter up here. You would just have to be willing to travel but they are out there and in your price range.

There's a 13 RS3 on sale for $42k. I've also seen a few older roush's for less than $30. My only worry that it would be my daily driver and everyday reliability of a supercharged car and of course how it could hurt resale down the road.

Resale has to be computed by dividing resale price by what you pay for the Mustang! I bought a regular an '08 Premium GT & put a Roush supercharger on it! I had $32K invested in it. I sold it 8 years later for $25K which is 78.1% of what I had in the car. Will you do better buying a GT 500 & reselling it 8 years later? That's the question!
If you want the bragging rights of a GT 500 then go that way, but I'd far rather drive a 2016 GT Premium with a Roush Supercharger at 670 HP than a older GT 500! There are things I don't like about a GT 500 like the ride. Older GT 500's don't compare favorably to a 2015/16 GT. I suspect you want a GT 500.... if you do.... get it!
