Default Front License plate

I live in a state that requires the display of front license plates. My front plate bracket was in the trunk when I bought my car. I have the hardware to attach the front plate bracket, but I REALLY DONT WANT TO!!!. Do you think I should risk the fine, or put holes in the front of my brand new mustang????

It's REALLY up to you. After you mount the plate, you'll forget about the matter within a few days.I get what you're saying, but virtually every other Mustang has a front plate mounted, and why worry about being pulled over, every time you take the car out?

You could always get a "show and go" bracket which mounts underneath and is hide-able (it folds under the car). I had one on my 2013 as front license plates looked really odd on the front bumper, IMO. On the S550 I didn't bother and just used Fords since there are dimples on the front for it and it actually conforms in a way that's not really bad.

I slapped it on. Doesn't look too bad, and I don't have that feeling I'm going to be pulled over....except for driving a badass.

Yeah I feel ya on the drilling. When I bought my 09 it was like new and the PO had put a cheesy knockoff on that didn't fit the curve of the bumper right. I bought the ford one and looks great. It also helps protect my radiator/condenser since the CS has a gaping hole there. Glad you got it on! It shouldn't be a big deal though I was nervous when I first did it but now I had completely forgotten about it till I saw this post.
