Ok so this mustang buy will be my first car purchase by myself, I have been reading this thread and something caught my eye, people were saying financing and stuff like that was dropping and they had already ordered the car. My question is do you have to pay for the car before its ordered or when its delivered to you? The reason I ask because I am selling my current car for the cash to buy the mustang and I don't want to be without a car for 1-2 months!

you put a small down payment when you order it but the rest of it is done when you pick up the car

What he said, I had the option of putting either $500 or $1000 down to order it, I chose $1000.
