Default Another axle back exhaust option

Did a 2016 Mustang GT 5.0 axle back exhaust search and saw the Legato option and checked it out. Just over $300.00 and after reading the feedback from the folks I ordered the system and had them drop ship to the muffler shop where the install was to be done. Had the system installed today and the installer said the mufflers look, and later sounded like, flowmaster 40's. The system hooked up as advertised, and the larger 4" diameter tips filled the space where the stock smaller diameter tips looked lost in the space. Couldn't be happier with the looks and the sound. Slight drone at 1400-1600 rpm, but at freeway 78 mph @ 2000 rpm the drone is not there. As soon as I figure why the photobucket video's of the before and after sound won't play, I'll attach them to this thread.

Here's the link to the Legato 2015-16 Mustang GT 5.0 axle back exhaust;

Here's the before and after look at the exhaust tips.

After driving the GT with the new exhaust for a couple days, I gotta say how good it sounds and I swear there's for sure a throttle response improvement and a slight performance improvement. At least that's what the butt dyno tells me.

Nice! I'm in the market for an exhaust. Did you go with an x or h pipe or still have the res in? Toss a sound clip on YouTube

Sounds pretty good from the YouTube video I watched. Add an X pipe and should sound even better.

Scooter3, what video did you watch? I haven't uploaded a video of the new exhaust system yet, just one of the stock exhaust system and YouTube says they're still processing the stock exhaust video.

There are a hand full of video clips on YouTube for this system. Sounds pretty good for the money and I am sure even better with the x pipe.

I'm spooked to change the cat converter for an X pipe, don't wanna mess with the warranty. Watching the above video I posted, the stock exhaust is impressive sounding, but nothing like the new Legato system. I'll post a video today or tomorrow of the new axle back Legato system.

Removing the resonator has nothing to do with you cats. All that thing does is restrict flow. Ford even offers an X pipe to replace it. Cant wait to hear the Legato system though.
