I got the impression it was. I can't imagine a little USB port would cost that much without install. I know this is off topic, but he also said Ford will have a hand held tuner coming soon that you can use that will not void the warranty.

Congrats on your new car! RawisTheGameHhH and scooter3 are right in stating that the 2017 vehicles with SYNC 3 have Apple CarPlay ready to go. If you would like to send the VIN in a PM, I'd be happy to double check for you.

Apple Car Play Update

Any new info on the Apple Car play update. Oasis states that it is coming but no farthing info is available.

For some reason, the forum doesn't let you have an edit button until you've been around for a certain time or made some minimum number of posts. I had the same issue at first but I'm seeing the edit button now. Just be patient, it'll show up eventually.

I love the new sync. I have a 2016 so am waiting to update so I get use CarPlay with my iPhone.
