My parents recently purchased a 2016 Mustang V6 and my mother is having issues with the remote start. She says she sets the AC, but when she remote starts the car, the AC wont come on with the car but the fan will blow on whatever speed it was left on. Is she doing something wrong or is there potentially something wrong with the car?

The way it works in my car is that it reverts to the original setting when you get in the car and press the start button. Otherwise, it will blow on high to cool the car until you press the start button. If it doesn't do this, then something is wrong.

go into the instrument cluster menu and set the remote start setting for climate control to automatic, it is most likely set on off....if it is equipped with a factory remote start. if its an aftermarket remote start you will most likely never get it to work correctly
