Evaporator Core Defective?

Evaporator Core Defective?
My 2015 GT Premium has been at the dealership for two weeks now. I've been given several false (after the fact) order dates for the evaporator core which is on "backorder." The service specialist says they don't know when they will receive the part from Ford, and apparently several other people are in the same situation. This is upsetting me, especially because this is the first new vehicle that I've purchased and only about a year ago.

Update: my store has a couple. For ecoboost and 5.0. He says the backorder is anywhere from 2-6weeks. He said it all depends on how your store ordered it and it all depends on what type of Mustang you have. We ordered a lot of them a few weeks ago that's why we have some but he said this whole year has been bad with trying to get them

I'm sorry to hear that it's my first Ford and honestly I would stick through it the car is worth it. When I worked at Mitsubishi I had a friend that destroyed his transmission on his 2015 Evolution and it took 3 months for us to receive the transmission. I love my 5.0 and if something happens to the evaporator and it's on back order I will just deal with it and move along the car is so badass
