Well it's just like the intake + tune from FRPP you can get from the dealer. the only difference is the key changes the tune instead of having a hand-held tuner.
You can get any of these, non-warranty voiding, installed by dealer, as a "dealer option"

you can order the track key here:

I wouldn't consider it (track key) stock for the purposes of "factory stock" 1/4 mile times. The track key is not a factory option.
The reason it's not Factory stock is because it doesn't come from the factory like that. You have to order it separately, and you can order any of those through the dealership and have them install it, but it's dealership installed, not factory installed. It's no different than asking my dealership to install the frpp supercharger on mine, paying the insane price, and claiming "factory stock".

Got it on the rack in the garage doing the rear suspension upgrades so can get to the track in 2 weeks when im off for the weekend. Wont be doing the N20 or dyno tune til next month and maybe a larger Throttlebody and laid out what i want to fab up for a CAI. But like most things gonna be a few weeks til i get the time Start next rotation Thur.

well the car came with the improved inlet tube and the Track key tuning. Long story was part of a Lemon law trade deal i worked out with the Dealer for my Focus St i bought last year. Didnt really pay extra for any of it. What i liked most about it is the 2 step feature. Which IMO for a Stick car is a Must for Bracket drag racing. If your starting out and dont plan on doing lots of Mods to your car. It can be a worth wild cost. If you going to be modding right away then No I wouldnt spend money on it. Ran it all weekend at the Track was Fun. Going to do alittle more testing this week. Then getting the N20 kit and tuning done next week.

Personally, I believe 430-435BHP is all we are going to get from the revised Coyote. Even though the S550 Coyote has larger valves, more cam lift, and revised intake and head passageway routing, I seriously doubt that the new Coyote will be factory tuned to more than 430-435BHP. Even though it could hit possibly 450BHP bone stock, I am certain Ford will purposely detune it to no more than 435BHP. Emissions and fuel economy goals are the driving factor for this.
