Exclamation Deysha - Please address brake squeal complaints

https://m.facebook.com/groups/245688..._comment_reply

FYI,

Multiple S550 owners are complaining over on the S550 FB page. I suggest somebody from Ford go over there and figure out whats going on. Sounds like dealers are not being helpful or forthcoming.

Follow link above.

Thanks,

Tom

For 2015 the Mustang GT brakes are finally up to modern performance standards. A performance brake pad will squeak when cold then gets quiet when warm.

Thank you for the heads up, THS_Steed06. However, this is not a group we are part of. You are welcome to direct them to our Facebook page, and one of our reps will reach out to them.

let's put it this way. Brake setups have three key aspects:

1) Pad life
2) Performance
3) Noise.

you usually get two of the three. You want awesome brakes and pads that last more than 10,000 miles? You're going to have a squeal here and there.

You’re welcome to address this with your dealer and let me escalate it for you, ScarletGT. Please PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number.

Default Squealing brakes

Deysha,
We are having problems with the Ford dealership helping us fix our brakes. They claim they don't hear anything but I hear it real loud every day. Just don't know what to do at this point.

No worries, sandradavila! I’ll get this escalated for you. Please PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number. Also, have you tried riding with the tech/service manager and showing them what you’re hearing? This may help as well.

Has Ford released anything about this yet? I love this car, but having people stop to see what piece of junk is stopping behind them is just plain embarrassing. A squeal is one thing, but this is a pure shreak!
