In the little over 3 months of ownership of my 2016 GT Premium I've noticed that after I shut off the engine and get out of the car, there is no exhaust snap/crackle/pop sounds like every other car I've owned. Wonder why there is no exhaust sounds after shutting off the engine from the exhaust system?

the snapping/popping is different pieces of metal sliding against each other as the metal exhaust parts contract as they cool down. I think the S550's exhaust is all welded together so there's nothing to move against.
