Ok so I went to the drag strip for the first time with my new Mistang. So far I have the Roush single coilover, roush supercharger, and 305 Nitto 555 G2 on the rear. My best time was 12.2@120mph. I got a little wheel hop off the line and I spun all the way through 2nd gear. It was almost pointless to shift into 2nd. My reaction times were all around .2 or .3. How can I get this car into the 11's without adding DR's?

Your going to have to DR's to get traction and get your RT and 60FT times down.

Also gears play a role as well. my times aren't that great because of my gears. my last trip to the track i was cutting great RT's and 60FT times but because i was on NT555's and not a DR and 3.55 gears i couldn't get my times down as low as i wanted.

Also, RT has nothing to do with your ET. The clock only starts after you leave.

You definitely have an easy 11 sec. car, you only have to get it to hook up and your there. I'll assume your 60ft was maybe around 2.0 from your discription. A set of sticky tires should get you at least in the 1.8 area. .02 tenths increase in your 60ft will net a .04 increase in your ET. BAM !!! 11.8......at least.

I know you wanted to stay with your street tires, but there's just no way to hook up that much power without a good set of stickys. That 60ft is the most important part of a time slip.
