Long story short, I have a big dent in my driver's door and the anti-intrusion bar has been compromised, so I need the door replaced. The body shop wants $2,100 to replace the door. However, I can get a used door from a junkyard for about $800. I was considering going with the junkyard door and doing the replacement myself.

Has anyone replaced a door on their s550 and if so, how difficult was it? Are there any special tools I would need? I haven't been able to find any guides or videos online so I imagine this particular project is not all that common.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.
