I watched an interview from one ford executive yesterday and he stated that this will be a "very Affordable" mustang.

The only way I knew it was a Mustang was the Pony in the grill and the big "Mustang" rear license plate

What about the front and rear quarters, the width of the car, the tribar rear lights, the shape of the grille, the idea that its taking concepts and cues from European performance cars and making them more accessible.

sure, it /looks/ like an F-Type coupe. Sure, it has a driveline and suspension spec sheet like a BMW M4, but probably won't be as well appointed as either in terms of interior materials, but it'll be a bloody fun car to drive, and honestly is more of a throwback to the original Mustang in terms of spirit and goal than the current one is. Despite my S197 looking more like the original does.
