I was in no hurry to buy a new Stang until I saw the 2014s I then rushed out to but a 2013. The 14 headlights take away the classic stang look and they look more European than American. Sorry but that's my 02.

Aren't the 2013 and 2014 the same? I don't think Ford made any changes to the 2013 for the 2014 model year - especially with the 2015 anniversary.

There is already a very good IRS available for the S197
here is the link http://www.mustangirs.com/?video=irs_new_full

This is a great setup and NO reason to try and fit something not intended for the S197 this one is made to order.

Can anybody say: Mustang II+II? Life is way too short for this! Your girlfriend will love the "pink" one!

The overall stance of Ford will be determined in small things, like what gear in the rear?
will it be a Mustang but really a Pinto for the Masses?

I mean 400 lbs lighter with a 3.7 add a CAI/92 tune, 73mm T/B, L/Tubes Cat-X, FRPP Axil backs and a 3.31, 3.55 or 3.73 and you'd have some good N/A power.

Will it have a straight driveshaft?

I'm waiting till 2016/17 and the debut of the Mach1 and GT-350. My 2013 GT/CS will be paid-off by then and will be so loaded with mods, it'll be my dedicated drag car and the Mach1 will be my D/D. I'll leave the GT-350 to you gentlemen of means and taste.

There is already a Really good IRS option for a S197 no reason to try and fit a 2014 suspension that was not made for a S197. http://www.mustangirs.com
Can't get much easier then that.

I was around when the 1st Mustangs came out and "Gearheads" considered them a "girls go to the beach car"! I hope the new Mustangs don't go the way of the "Thunderbird"!

I am torn between the look of the original mustang, which I love, vs the new european style look. I had a 1966 Mustang and the reason I purchased my 2006 was the retro look. I'm sure all the new tech items are a plus and depending on the price I might add one to my stable.
