Post 2015 Mustang spy pics: engine, interior, and IRS (for posterity)

Great to see a section opened up for the S550

There haven't been spy pics for a few months now, but these were the latest, which showed the V8 engine, interior, undercarriage and the IRS.

Some good spied pics to start off the new section's discussions.

Nice info! I've seen all those pics but not the ones with the camoflaged production front end. Doesn't look as sleek as a lot of the renders out there.

I wonder what the possibility of adapting the IRS to previous generations would be like.

Bet we'll see people attempting or at least considering a retrofit, but that's no small task! It ain't like swapping out some springs and struts

People always hate on any new model car's rear ends. But that concept Mustang rear is a work of art. So gorgeous.

I really doubt that they are able to put the new front on the old chassis, it would be just like putting the front end from the s197 chassis on the sn-95 chassis.

Why is it camouflaged then? Makes no sense to go to those lengths to camouflage a current body.

You can do it. It would just fit like crap, just like on that mule.

How old is that picture though? It could have been the 2013 development or a new grill option for the 2014 model. It just doesnt make any sense to mount new bodywork on an outgoing chassis. There is nothing they can gain out of it.
