Appears that Ford has been reading comments
I went to the NAIAS last Saturday, finally had a chance to download my pictures. Big crowds around the 2015 Mustang display.
I noticed something about the cars. The yellow one was labeled as a prototype
And this is the rear end that we've all seen
When looking at the "production" version, I noticed that Ford changed the rear end treatment:
Really noticeable on the Race Red version
So apparently Ford saw the negative comments about the two tone look to the rear fascia

Wow, looks good either way but kinda cool that Ford is willing to change things this close to production.
Do you think this is maybe a trim thing? Like one might be a GT/CS or maybe a premium model feature?

They didn't have any placards out to say what equipment might be on the cars. But the red one isn't a GT/CS and neither is the yellow one (didn't have GT/CS badging, just the 5.0 and same rear badge). I think the convertible is a V6 but not positive.

I like it, pictures of course don't give you as good a look as the real thing. Ford definitely had the biggest crowds, all around the Mustang, and then the new F150.
Someone on another site said that the rear end treatment (two tone or body color) is a package. I don't know, could be, I'm pretty deaf so I couldn't understand the announcers when they did the "show" with people talking about the Mustang so it could be a special package.

I prefer the 2 tone as well. If Ford is reading these posts, then listen up. The price is getting too high. Also, I think since I've bought 7 mustangs in the past, where do I redeem my buy 7 get the 8th free punch card?
