I hope it is sooner as I don't want to wait that long.

Default I am biting

I am over here in Kuwait and have decided to have one ordered through the military purchase plan offered. I have never done a purchase from the factory before. I will update as time goes on and let everyone know how it goes. I haven't decided what to do with my 2009 Shelby yet. I have had fun with it, but not an everyday car, and that is what I am hoping the GT I am purchasing can be. I have to check on the brembro brakes only being on the front as stated in another forum. I wasn't aware of that being the case. Some have complained that it is eurotrash. Well, if this model is a combination of my two favorite cars I have owned (BMW 330ci and GT500) then I will be ecstatic. My BMW didn't quite have all the sportiness I wanted, and the GT500 is a beast to drive. I lowered it, added racing supension and a Watts link. It still is a challenge when one punches it.
I also missed creature comforts, and long road trips in it are tough on these old bones. I hope the new GT is the perfect combination of American muscle and european refinement. Hell, the passive cruise control is almost enough to sell me. I drive from Houston to San Antonio alot.

I believe the MPFI GT 350 is expected to be released first...in 2016.

Then the flat 8 twin turbo in 2017.

Either way its a big dose of Old School getting slapped with new age Modern.

Can't wait for the checkmate they're gonna hand the Z28's when those modern Mustang variants are released.

Exciting times ahead.

I will be trading in my 2013 Lariat for a GT. I had an 06 GT and a 2010. I recently lost my GT in a flood back in Oct. and it hasnt been the same ever since.

Yes the insurance took care of me. I owed 15k and they cut me a check for 9500.00 after they payed FMC off.
I almost got into a 2014 CS but I knew that the 2015 was coming out. I had to make a decision soon because my rental which was covered for a whole month was due to return in the next couple of days. I didnt want to get the CS and kick myself in the *** if I like the way the new 2015's looked. The flood happened on Halloween and so I had to get my car by end of Nov. I hadnt seen what the new 2015's looked like yet. I opted for the truck since we were in the flood and I needed a pick up. I have to force myself to look back at my truck but the feeling is gone. Its not a stang. I will be back in the saddle hopefully in Sept. at least thats when the dealership said they expect them.
