FIRST LOOK AT THE S550 IRS!

I haven't seen that, but it's good to know that the possibilities are there on the S550 platform.
I wonder if Ford Racing used the stock axle half shafts and how well they stood up to over 450BHP? I have confidence in the stock rear gears (pinion, rings, and possibly also the diff) because of their beefier design. Afterall, the Ford engineers call the S550 8.8in the "Super 8.8."

And they stood up very well under supercharged power with the car wearing Hoosier drag slicks for shoes.
Now, the next thing Ford has to do to really take advantage of the S550 integral-link IRS is to put in better shocks, springs, and anti-roll bars.
The S550 Performance Package beats the S179 Boss302 on the road course, but that Performance Package still can't beat a Camaro SS 1LE package, and that is still the 5th Gen. Too much Daily Driving put in the Performance Package suspension. Too much of Ford's obsession with having a smooth ride. They need to get rid of some of that Daily Driving and man-up by sacrificing some of their NVH goals (which too me, is set too high to begin with).
Time to step up the game because Chevy is making a whole new Camaro (6th Gen) using the Cadillac ATS's Zeta platform
