Picked up my wife's '15 GT Premium last night. MSRP WAS $42,590. I paid $39,864 less $1,500 in rebates, so $38,364. One was some Ford holiday promo for $500 and the other was a conquest competitive lease for $1,000. I was eligible for that due to a Kia Optima I leased for my daughter earlier this year. I got $18,800 trade for a '11 GT Premium with 45K. I'm very pleased overall and the car is incredible, with huge improvements in ride and technology.

Sounds like you did very well good $$ on your used trade in. I just picked mine up day before Christmas $25,400 plus tax title and license it list for $38,660 and its in service date was only 8 months back. 4,400 miles on car I keep trying to find out what was wrong with it and could not find anything.

If you want the car, go get it. It's not worth worrying about and stressing over saving a thousand dollars. When it comes to buying a vehicle someone will always get a better deal than you. That's the way it has always been and I do not see that changing unless the auto industry moves to fixed pricing (fingers crossed).
