Well of course. But my dad being older sees it as having an in dash screen and the salesmen says, "oh and it has navigation" and of course he ends up pulling the trigger. Props to this dealership though and they are trying to come up with a solution and add the navigation for him.
They are still waiting on the apim and sd card to come in. I'll report back.

Is there an update to this. Curious if the dealer got OEM Nav added?

On my 2015 GT w/o navigation there is an option on the myford sync screen "where am I" that tells you your GPS coordinates, so obviously there is a GPS reciever and antenna present in the non-navigaton Mustangs.

Just emailed the dealership and they say;

"We need to add the GPS computer and the antenna. The cost for adding this is $1,800. There's a lot of labor involved.
It is done with genuine Ford parts."

It's much better, and way cheaper, to order or buy a GT Premium with Nav installed.[/QUOTE]

Had to laugh when I read what the dealer told you. They are adding an aftermarket kit that might be ford "approved" but it is not the OEM navigation.

OEM Navigation can be had for a lot less than that.

Spend the $750 now, roll it into your payment, and love the seamless integration without third-party garbage. I thought I'd regret the cost but I couldn't be happier, and if you WANT navigation, this is your best bet.

I just use my cell phone for Navigation. The sync plays it thru my stereo system.

Exactly how did you do that, The dealer couldn't find a car with Nav along with the other options I wanted on a car I wanted, but I still looking for a way to use a Nav in my sync 3 system. Thanks

2016 PP with no nav. I use my phone through sync. Not as nice as in car nav but still works for me. I don't think I'd settle for a GT Prem over a GT PP simply for nav.
