Default Can't order anymore?

I went to order a 2015 GT and the dealer said they can't order any longer and I would have to find something from inventory. He found something near to what I want but it has the 50 Years Appearance Package which when it comes with the Perf Package is a waste as it retains the PP wheels anyway.

What I am looking for is not very demanding:
Ruby Red
manual trans
Perf Package
Premium Package (can also do w/o)
Reverse Sensing

I would try a different dealership. Maybe they meant the 2015's cannot be ordered anymore because the 2016's are ramping up in production.

Hey vincep99,

PM me with this info, and how far you’d like to expand the search. I’ll see what I can find.

I was at my dealer Saturday and they said they put the order in Monday morning. I'm assuming its a 2015 Model year...

Is there confirmation that it is too late to order a 2015?

You’re still good until the end of the month, Mr. D. be sure to PM me with your dealer’s name and order number so I can track it.

Thanx for the info. Deysha!

Questions:

1. Are packages like the California package "rigid" when you "order" a Mustang GT? Example: Is it possible to order a Mustang GT with the California Package deleting the 19" wheels? Some of us old guys prefer the ride of 18" Wheels!

2. Will customers be able to order Ford stripe kits & spoilers by themselves on Mustang GT's?

3. Is the Pony Package available on a Mustang GT?

Thanks for the feedback!

I did indeed go to a different dealer and it was no problem for him to order exactly what I wanted. He said it will be here late July. I assume it will be a 2015 but when I got my last one in April of 2006 it was a 2007 model.

D you already know factory packages are rigid, otherwise the Ford website would list the various options, but as the wheels go, a good dealer will some times work with you and swap wheels from another car on the lot, I've seen it at my local dealer more than once.

And about the other things, if they are list on the Ford accessories site, you can get them dealer installed before you pick up your care, that is if it's planned right and the parts get there when or before the car shows up.
