I like the idea of building something and giving it it's own name. I know a lot of guys get all worked up over it but screw them it's your car. I built a Cobra and most people like it but some people just hate it guess that's life. lol

The only thing that is really wrong is cheating someone by misrepresenting a car as an "original factory model" when you sell it. It's people's own business if they are in love with pedigrees & will pay five times as much for an original than a perfect identical clone, but that's not me. Modifications are part of the fun in owning car, but I hate to see the Classic Cars customized until all what made them classics is modified away & gone forever. Of course it is a matter of tastes, but classic cars dissappear that way. Some classic cars (in my opinion) should be restored, but not modified until they are lost forever in body filler modifications. What made a C1 Corvette or a '55 to '57 Chevy should not be lost especially when you can buy all the after market body parts & make some super customized version without ruining an original classic car.

It's too bad many young people don't see that ripping off the original moulding & parts & modifying everything would not make this a better looking car than the classic the manufacturer designed!

I agree with you 100% on that. The car is what it is you can't just build it into something that already is made and call it that.
