lol, notch has been one of those like to have cars since i was a kid.. I was looking around for a nice, fun, dependable daily driver & knew exactly what I wanted to buy. 1990(12/89) LX sport w/ 3.08s for $1900. It was bone stock under the hood when purchased with a busted T-5(I replaced with a MINT 2000 Tremec T-5)

exactly the reason I will be doing it. Project is pushed off for prolly a year now.. I think I may go with the truck 6.0 engine over the LS1 for it can handle more power under boost.

so far since Ive had it, its almost full bolt on. GT40 Upper & lower, ported MAF, JBA headers, electric cooling fan, o/r X-pipe, Mac dumps, BBK CAI, & just picked up an 3G Alt to upgrade. Working on getting an throttle body & EGR spacer, 3.73 gears, & some suspension work.

Some1 really should pick up where OP left off and complete the dream. Though i can't believe i took time reading a 2.5 year old thread, it was def worth it until i found out that it wasn't happening.... my night was thus ruined! hahaha jk
