hey all...been a while..anyhow, my buddy just put a magnacharger on his tahoe, which did improve his truck tremendously, but now the truck is back in the shop getting ported and polished, cams, headers, and pulleys and a new chip...shop said he will be sitting at around 700ish hp wise...how bad do you think i will lose??? as of now, he stands no chance wih just the charger cause the truck is sooo heavy...but what about more power?

It's hard to tell until you know how much power it ACTUALLY has. But those things are HEAVY, so it will need quite a bit of power. I winder of the transmission will hold up with all the weight and power.

i told him to get a different rear end but he says he doesnt have to...even tho he is going to be pushing a lot more power thru the system!

yeah.. I'd say convince him to run it hard several times and if it doesn't break something then give it a couple months and he'll probably have broken some stuff before you have to race him anyway :P

If it was a trailblazer SS apparently some of those can be done up fairly easily/cheaply to even beat some S/C S197s..

Hmm, I'd say his trans is on borrowed time at this point. I've rode in a whipple charged Tahoe before. It was quick, but was really more show than go. It made a big fuss and slammed the rear end within inches of the ground, but thats about it, lol.
