1.8s is pretty good for us.(Front drive) I did the 1.6 on an 8 inch slick. Those Camaros are pure sexyness and should be beasts with just a few modding bucks invested.

yeah, theyre definitely sexy. they should sound pretty good with an aftermarket exhaust. wonder if any of the big companies got any cars as testbeds yet for heads/cams. only thing that kills them is the weight, but once they figure out how to get more power out of them, the weight wont be an issue. not for straight line anyway.

The 400hp version isn't an LS3. It's the L99. Same block and heads, but a different cam and it has Active Fuel Management.

since it's the same engine as the corvette (in the manual SS) I'm sure you can search for engine mods for a newer corvette and use them..

haha... same here..though you should be able to take one out stock... I will fall short.

I had a race lined up with a guy from my rental but I don't think it's going to happen.. . my clutch won't be fixed by then and he was talking about adding a tune immediately after he gets it. I am sure I will bump into one sooner or later...just hope I get a lid on so I can make it somewhat interesting first.

I cant wait to see one on the road either, but I'm pretty sure the first few I do see will be driven by old guys who want nothing to do with racing!

I went that route on the old LT1... don't know if I am willing to sacrifice the gas mileage just yet..

I am hoping for full exhaust in the next year so we will see...
