S197 vs a bunch of Motorcycles

Seriously, I'm not trying to be an @ss but there is no way you raced anything other than all 250's or 500's... they might have been goofing with you or they were small displacement bikes.
I've got over 60,000 miles logged on sportbikes between the street and racetracks... there is no way you're gonna pull on one, even at higher speeds.
You might beat them out of the hole from a dig, but other than that even an older 600 will put a whooping on your car (which is virtually the same as my car modifcation-wise) from anywhere in the 30-130mph range.
If you're looking at the Total Motorcycle website and are seeing the bikes in the 13's and 14's... do more research on them. None of them are sportbikes, they are standards or touring bikes.
Honda CB500
Yamaha Diversion
Ducati M600
Honda Goldwing
Aprilia Pegaso
Honda Shadow 600
Kwak KLR
Again, I'm not trying to be rude or say that your 'races' didn't happen... you just didn't race a sportbike or the rider of the sportbike wasn't racing you.

I owned 2 bikes before, 99 honda cbr 600 where I ran a mid/low 12's, then I had a 05 Suzuki GSX-R 750 and ran a high 11. The 600 is capable of 11's, the 750 is capable of 10's. Both bikes had stock clutches and I didn't want to ruin them by leaving at 8k rpm's.
So just so you know, with a 2.6 60ft (average), I still ran in the 12's. Are you sure they were racing you? I hate to call bs man, but you either raced a few 250's (which still run 14's), or they really really really.... REALLY REALLY didn't know how to race.

Looked up the specs, they have it listed @ low 12s @ 108 (lol, prolly with a 150lb kid), so yep from a roll that bike could be walked or hung with by a Mustang with basic (tune, CAI, exhaust, etc...) mods.

Never understood the fascination with sport bikes (and yes, I have ridden on a few). Most of the ones around here are driven by young guys who are constantly driving like maniacs. It's to the point where I no longer call them crotch rockets.........I called them 2 wheeled hood ornaments.

Yeah they must have been some slow bikes, I raced a 07 GSXR 1000 with a slip on with my mustang when I had the KB on it and he walked me pretty good. Even the new R6s and GSXR 600s are very quick bikes.
