I think he should pull you by a good bit. Autos are way too often underestimated here, especially the modded ones. His tune (if done right) will have him shifting precisely when he needs to, and shifting pretty hard at that.

Dig or roll? It really doesn't matter cause he'll take you in both. You're completely stock, and even with a magnificent driver, his mods and not having to worry about shifting are good enough to take you.
