A GT would stomp a 350Z in a drag race. The 350 was never a strong performer at the track. Personal experience not magazine numbers. With that said a 6 cylinder Mustang shouldn't even show up at the strip unless it's heavily modded to save an embarassing beating at the hands of a Z.

Just to humor the guy we could talk about the older 350Z's before the 3.5 got a boost to 300 hp.
Weren't the 28X hp ones good for lower 14's in the quarter mile?
Figure a fair driver puts up a 14.3 and an EXCELLENT driver goes 14.8 in a stock S197 4.0, then you're only looking at 'about' a half second on the most imaginary end of the scale :-)
