Exclamation 04 V6 vs. 06? Mazda rx8

Im not sure the year but most likely a 06 and auto, stock as far as I know. My mods are in sig. Who would win the 1/4 mile? I think he rated at 232hp & 159tq so i'm guessing I would take him off the line then he would pass

...the Auto's were rare, but they were rated at like 200-210 hp. I think they were four speed auto's, so their performance wasn't that great compared to the six speed 232-238hp RX8's. Newer ones have six speed auto's, according to mazdausa's website.

If it's an auto, I'm not sure who would win.

The automatics are slow as hell. No launch capabilities or top end. They don't rev as high either, which takes away from the RX8's powerband even more (hence the low HP rating). I would lean toward the V6 stang on this one. A manual RX8 would pull pretty good on the new edge V6.

Stick or auto doesn't matter, with your mods you'll win. The little 1.3 in those things dont even start to make power til their past 5000 RPMs. Great little autocross car. Lousy drag car.

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.
