You'd probably be better off going from a dig, assuming he's stock and on street tires. If you can hook and get out in front then he probably won't be able to catch up. Either way he still probably has the longer legs up top.

Best trap 107.11mph, we'll see what the new intake/carb setup does.

You have a close to stock LS1 whats the weakest point for you???

I don't have much traction off the line but if i go from a roll he'll be closer .IDK
Like I said, if I bang gears I have no worrys about losing I just want to win by as much as possible!

I was dead even with his last car---H/C/I Fox with a blower(powerdyne@6psi)....though he had our fat friend in the car too LOL...that was actually before the 4.10s too..Never got to race him 1 on 1 though I know he had the fastercar 12.6@112

Thanks
Since your so supremely confident you'll win why not let him pick the race.

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.

Haha. you're obviously not getting the point of this. I'm asking what type of race makes me beat him by the most.....

As I previously stated I'm not trying to "just" win I want to beat him by as much as possible. If he wants to challenge me himself then I won't shy away, but I'm going to challenge him and am wondering to which race I should challenge him to.

As far as being "so supremely confident" I havn't been going on about how bad I'm gonna rape him, I've just stated that I doubt me losing to him. I never even said I'd beat him by a lot. I merely stated I have no worries racing him. This is just spoken from experience racing other F-bodys. It's a stock, vert....not exactly the fastest T/A dearborn ever put out

I think your mising my point. You offer him what ever race he wants even stating "pick the race where you have the best chance of winning" Then what can he say when you let him pick and he still loses.

What h/c/i setup did he have? He should be dead even with you without the powerdyne. That car should be making atleast 350+rwhp. Should have definitely whooped you, unless your fat friend weights 500lbs.

Why shift at 6k? I take mine all the way to 6800, you should too with your tune. The S197 is still making power past 6 grand. You can touch 14x mph with 4.10s, trust me. Don't make me go out and get a vid of mine doing it in 4th.
