Default New and most likely FINAL plans for the car

So, I'm going to be attending ASU (arizona state) for my second degree, most likely in physics, this upcoming academic year (technically the next couple or three years, not sure yet), and I think I might be taking my car.

Considering the 120* heat, the lack of time to really go anywhere out of town, much less out of state, and the lack of money to go anywhere outside of school, my car will be converted to go down the drag strip, consistently.

I still have the built 4R70W from when I bought the car, so that will be going back in, and the IRS is coming out (I know, sad day for corner carvers)

I am however going to be helping within the next month build my buddies GT into a monster.

He's going to be using my old shortblock, the set of turbo's that I was going to use (twin 50 something mm turbos), the T-56, and the IRS, and I think he wants to do a 4V conversion. I'm selling him the parts pretty cheap, the trans and rear have at least 30k miles on them, so I don't know that they'd be worth much more than he's giving me. But it'll be a monster of a car.

I'm also thinking that while I'm up in Phoenix, I'll take the car back town to 11-12PSI for during summer months, and then I can crank it back up to 16-18PSI during the "winter". I just really don't want to worry about underhood temps (not that I would have to), but I've heard phoenix traffic can be much worse than that of tucson.

Anyway, I should living up there with a high eleven, low twelve second car, during the summer at least, and then during the winter, I'll go back to a 10 second sleeper (probably slightly faster with the 3500 stall and a stout 8.8")

Who knows, if I feel like it I may break out the camera and take pictures of the swap

I've always liked this car, why not leave it as is?
